McGard manhole locks prevent unauthorized access to telecommunication networks as well the electricity and water supply. Many airports and telecommunication providers such as German Telekom, Hungarian Matav, enhance their data network security by protecting their manhole covers with McGard locks.

McGard manhole locks can be either installed ex works or retrofit on all conventional concrete steel, and cast iron manhole covers.

Provided with three coatings of nickel and chrome, our manhole lock provides the best possible protection against corrosion through the action of road salt or other environmental effects. In addition, the security systems are delivered with a plastic cap to prevent soiling on the encoding grooves.
